IDFA Competition for Feature-Length Documentary

For documentaries longer than 60 minutes / Formerly Joris Ivens Competition
In 2009, an international jury of five evaluated the films and announced its three nominations at the IDFA Media Talk Show on November 25. The VPRO IDFA Award for Best Feature-Length Documentary, which consists of a sculpture and a cash prize of €12,500, was presented at the IDFA Awards Ceremony on November 27. In addition, the jury granted a Special Jury Award.
