FORUM Online - Selected Projects

FORUM Online is the platform for producers to present their newest projects, and for financiers to find new documentary gems.

In October 2011, FORUM Online was launched with a selection of five exciting projects that have been made possible with support from the Jan Vrijman Fund. In the future, this number will range from five to 10 projects per year that have been selected by IDFA. The projects are represented by an international film professional whose goal is to seek out partners for co-production and funding that fit each project in particular. Potential partners can watch the project’s trailer, subscribe to follow its development, and place comments on the project page.

The projects selected for the FORUM that takes place in Amsterdam during IDFA in November are also available online for potentially interested co-production and co-financing partners. The online platform offers producers the opportunity to keep potential partners up to speed on the most recent changes or developments in their projects. These partners can subscribe to the projects and receive updates by e-mail. The details of these FORUM projects will first be offered exclusively to commissioning editors at IDFA in Amsterdam. Starting in early December, the projects will also be made available for interested producers and other film professionals who attended the FORUM.
