Volunteers

Volunteers are an important and intrinsic aspect to the successful organization of IDFA. They welcome our guests and audiences and are our eyes and ears during the festival. Volunteers are also ambassadors of IDFA thanks to their enthusiasm for the festival. Applications are open from August 1st for becoming a volunteer during IDFA 2014!

Policy
There are some requirements for becoming a volunteer at IDFA. They are described in the IDFA Volunteers Policy, together with everything that you can expect from IDFA when working as a volunteer.

Application
As of August the volunteers form will be available on this page once you've logged in to your MyIDFA account. When filling in the form, you need to agree to the general terms and conditions for volunteers. Uploading a head shot, your CV and a copy of your passport is part of the form. Please make sure you have them at hand digitally or you will not be able to submit the form. Please note: if you are from outside the EU, you will need a work permit for the Netherlands. Unfortunately it's not allowed to do volunteer work on a Student Visa.

Available jobs
Below you will find descriptions of the jobs that are available to international volunteers. Please read them to get a clearer idea of what job suits your preference and availability. The form has the option for you to be able to fill out two preferred jobs.
