Synopsis
Laughing nervously, psychologist Gary Greenberg talks about his correspondence with the imprisoned terrorist Ted Kaczynski, the notorious Unabomber. The ambitious Greenberg, like Kaczynski at the time, had difficulties getting published. By interviewing the Unabomber, he hoped some publisher would be attracted by his fame. After some time, however, he gets caught up in Kaczynski’s rhetoric and in a battle with other potential interviewers who are trying to defame each other to Kaczynski. ‘It’s my Unabomber!’
