Kill Your Darlings: Revolve (#veryveryshort)

With a heavy heart, filmmakers delete scenes they love - because they don't fit the story or don't really add anything, for instance. Watch a deleted scene from Revolve, a 360° immersive dance project to be premiered at #veryveryshort (part of IDFA DocLab: Uncharted Rituals).

Artist Joaquin Wall: "After the last take of our #veryveryshort dance scene we kept the camera on and our choreographer invited all dancers to move freely around our 360° camera. This improvisation resulted in such a beautiful and joyful scene that we decided to use the last frame as the promotion image for the project. A lot had happened before it ended in that final pose!"
