This is a story about a madman wandering in the Foreigner’s Street, a knock-off amusement park in Chongqing. The madman used to be a member of one of Chongqing’s underworld gangs. He had fallen into the margins of society and was living as a vagrant in the amusement park. From the perspective of the madman, the film goes to the absurd reality of Foreigner’s Street. Through his journey, the film encompasses and bears witness to the descent of Foreigners Street from prosperity to decline.
