Paul Tomkowicz, Streetrailway Switchman

It is a portrait of an old man, who at first sight appears to do an uninteresting job, but whose work in fact is extremely useful to the community he lives in. Paul Tom-kowicz cleans the tram sidings which become clogged with mud, snow and ice. Now he is nearing retirement but he gives a commentary on himself and his work.
