Sidik has been searching for the leopard for 25 years now. He still hasn’t seen it, but he does not give up hope. Because the return of the leopard in the mountains of Kurdistan, North-Iraq, would mean ‘the survival of the homeland’. It is his ambition to document the leopard on camera, so the region can be made into a national park and nobody will bombard it again. On his travels Sidik encounters animals, people, plants, rivers. They all have stories, that connect to his own memories. In this poetic film director Reber Dosky tells the story of Sidik, the quest for survival of nature and man in a deeply wounded, but proud environment.

This film will only be available in Docs for Sale on November 24, after its World Premiere.
