From the living room of their Parisian apartment, I set out with my grandparents, Colette and Justin, on a journey through time at the intersection of the family narrative and the history of the decolonization of the Congo. Through interviews, archival films and poems, this film puts their two words in resonance. It also addresses my relationship to this complex history and my attachment to the country of my childhood, which still inhabits me, even though I no longer live there.
