Illustrated by the living conditions of three different Argentinean youngsters, journalist and documentary filmmaker Pablo Reyero tells a distressing story about youth, marginality and violence. The film follows car mechanic Juan (20), nicknamed ‘El Negro’, Lilliana (‘Lilli’, 25), who has deteriorated into a chronical anorexia patient due to malnutrition, and Eliseo (19), nicknamed ‘Ruso’, burdened with an alcoholic father and uncle. They are all living in Darsena Sur, a province of Buenos Aires. It is an area that is polluted by petrochemical industry. Reyero‘s protagonists seem to have resigned themselves to their extremely marginal existence, in spite of their young age.
