Silk

Alita, a young and pregnant woman, lives in an isolated village at the foot of the mountains. Her solitary life has a slow rhythm; she does the housekeeping and breeds silkworms. Her husband will be absent for quite some time. Alita is satisfied with her life. While the worms gorge themselves with mulberry leaves, she quietly awaits the birth of her baby.
