IDFA 2016 once again celebrated the documentary genre in all its glory! With over 300 films and interactive documentaries in the program, among which were 106 world premieres, the festival broke all previous attendance numbers with a total of 280,000 viewings. Some 3,000 international documentary professionals gathered in Amsterdam for twelve days of screenings, industry events, panel discussions and much more.
