Free accommodation

• If your personal invitation states that IDFA will pay for your hotel, please contact our Guest Services. They will make your hotel reservation.
• IDFA Guest Services will only book hotels for filmmakers with a film in the 2016 program and special delegates.
• Filmmakers with a film in one of the competition programs and the Masters, Best of Fests and Panorama sections are offered three or four hotel nights by the festival. For filmmakers with films in other IDFA program sections the festival offers two or three nights.
• IDFA does not offer accommodation to Dutch filmmakers with a film in the festival program.
Opening film: Stranger in Paradise October 18, 2016 | IDFA 2016 will open at the Royal Theatre Carré on November 16 with Stranger in Paradise by Dutch director Guido Hendrikx, exploring the relationship between Europe and refugees in a film on the boundary between documentary and drama.
