IDFA DocLab Competition for Digital Storytelling

DocLab is open to all sorts of interactive projects, ranging from webdocs, apps and virtual reality projects to data art, multimedia journalism, installations and live performances. In 2016 IDFA DocLab celebrates its 10th anniversary, amongst others with the special program Elastic Reality exploring the boundaries between our physical and digital reality. 

Each year a jury is invited to give out the IDFA DocLab Award for Digital Storytelling (€5,000) as well as the Scenic IDFA DocLab Immersive Non-Fiction Award (€2,500).

The 2016 IDFA DocLab Immersive Non-Fiction Award goes to DeathTolls Experience by Ali Eslami.
The 2016 IDFA DocLab Award for Digital Storytelling goes to Deprogrammed by Mia Donavan.
