Last year, the Industry Office successfully gathered all IDFA's existing festival services, and introduced a few new ones to boot. This year we proudly continue our Industry Office program, offering an extensive program of services,  sessions, talks and consultancies to inspire our professional festival guests and to keep them up to date on the latest developments in the documentary industry.

The Industry Office is open to all pass holders to meet up, to network and do business.

Guest Desk and Guest Box Office

Industry Desk

At the Industry Desk, we can help you with any questions regarding the program for professionals. We help you to find your way through the industry side of the festival, connect you with other professionals on various topics, and inform you about various talks, meetings and sessions. Members of the press can also requests a room to hold interviews.

Writing Room

A workspace for all accredited guests. WiFi connection and computers are available.

Meeting Room with screening facilities

All accredited guests have the opportunity to reserve a meeting/screening room for small groups of up to 15 people. Reservations can be made in advance by e-mailing and during the festival at the Industry Desk. Additionally, six viewing booths are available for holders of a Press Pass at Docs for Sale. Both services are located in Arti et Amicitiae.

Industry Program

Various types of talks and sessions bring you up to speed on the latest developments in the industry and let experts share their knowledge in various setups. A roster of renowned documentary professionals are on hand for consultancies, either through preregistered meetings are walk-in consultancies.
