13-year-old Ishaq Omar is offside. The Israeli wall runs straight through his backyard, so he cannot go and play soccer with his friends, who have all gathered on the village square. All day, Ishaq patiently waits for his father's return, as at least one member of the family has to be at home, or else they fear that they may lose the house. His Mom doesn't feel safe alone, and demands that Ishaq stay home with her. Just as resigned, Ishaq's father waits for the soldiers outside the gate in the blazing sun to be allowed to walk the few last meters to his house.
