Accreditation
You need to fill in an accreditation form in order to register and obtain a pass. You need a MyIDFA account to access this form. In the accreditation form you can indicate you wish to attend IDFA as an IDFAcademy participant by filling in a motivation and CV/Resume.  IDFA will make a selection on the basis of this information.

Group accreditations for film schools are allowed, but each applicant should register individually.

The film school representative should contact Yorinde Segal. Teachers from film schools cannot obtain an IDFAcademy pass. Special access to IDFAcademy as an observer is possible for teachers when permission is granted in advance.

Fee exemptions
Accreditation fees are not applicable to participants who have been selected with a film in the IDFA Competition for Student Documentary, IDFA Competition for First Appearance, or Workshop Results program. Neither are these fees applicable to participants in the IDFA Documentary Workshop, Kids & Docs Workshop and Summer School 2011.
