This year's focus program: Common Ground
Festival
A park in New York, a village in Colombia, a subway line in Paris, a strike in Minnesota. These are places where people come together, share space, clash, and sometimes find common cause. Through 17 films and a series of in-depth conversations, IDFA’s focus program Common Ground explores the many forms that a sense of community can take: shared spaces, histories, memories, cultures, and struggles.
