De Groene Filmclub Live: Maria & Marlon
De Groene Filmclub Live: Maria & Marlon
Description

Since the start of the MeToo movement in 2017, transgressive behavior is no longer accepted in the theater and film industries. In this edition of De Groene Filmclub Live, two short films - Meet Marlon Brando (1966) and Maria Schneider, 1983 (2022) - highlight how shockingly 'normal' sexism was once perceived as, both behind the scenes as well as on set, during rehearsals or taping.

Please note that the discussion after the screenings will be in Dutch. For more information, visit the Dutch-language section of our website.
