Double Bill: The Life and Literature of Annie Ernaux
Description

The Life and Literature of Annie Ernaux is a special double-bill program bringing together two films that reflect the Nobel Prize–winning author’s ongoing contemporary influence as an artist, writer, and feminist icon. Grounded in the shared feminist practice central to both Annie Ernaux and director Claire Simon, The Super 8 Years (2022) and Writing Life – Annie Ernaux Through the Eyes of High School Students (2025) reaffirm the political and historical value of simply documenting one’s life.
