
A special screening of When The Phone Rang (2024) in the presence of director Iva Radivojević. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Radivojević on her work, the role of memory and translating the experience of displacement into cinema.
Iva Radivojevic is an artist and filmmaker who currently divides her time between Athens and Lesbos. Iva's films have screened at the New YorkFilm Festival, Locarno IFF, New Directors/New Films, IFFR, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival, Jeonju IFF, Museum of Modern Art (NYC), Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art. She is the recipient of the Sundance Art of Non-Fiction Fellowship, Guggenheim Fellowship, Jerome, NYFA and Princess Grace Film Fellowship. Her book Avenue of The Living, was published by Big Black Mountain Press, while her recent short story When The Phone Rang was published by red herring press in the UK. She’s a PhD candidate at Villa Arson in Nice.
