Join Madeline Schwartzman for an intimate chat about her new book Alive: Synthetic Cells, Feral Robots, Rebellious AI, and the Design of Radical Life. She will share insights on the evolution of the book, and how she made sense of hundreds of new entities, from the first self-replicating bacterial cell, to organoids, decellularized leaves that serve as matrices for growing human cells, generative animated entities, and organic robots.
