2073
It’s the year 2073, and a woman is struggling to survive in a devastated world. Asif Kapadia (Senna,Amy) compiles the calamities of recent decades to form the prologue of a sinister science fiction film with a crystal clear message.

OneWorld presents OneWorld Movie Night, a continued series of film screenings with a focus on insightful dialogues with special guests. For this edition, the OneWorld team has selected Asif Kapadia’s sci-fi docudrama 2073.
The world can't get enough wake-up calls about injustice. '2073' isn't simply a dystopian sci-fi movie, but rather a hybrid documentary film, featuring real footage and with the cooperation of real journalists, who confront us with the way we are drifting further and further toward technology-driven fascism.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with climate philosopher and activist Chris Julien. Dutch Spoken.
