
A special screening of House in the Fields (2017), introduced by director and photographer Tala Hadid. Almost a decade later, Hadid reflects on her time with the Amazigh community in Morocco's Atlas Mountains while looking back on the making of this remarkable film. She will discuss the close relationship she built with the two sisters at the heart of the film and how her photographic practice has shaped its visual language.
Tala Hadid is a photographer and filmmaker whose work includes Itarr el Layl (2014), House in the Fields (2017) and the installation Floodplain (2019). Her films have been shown at film festivals around the world, including the Berlin International Film Festival and Venice Film Festival, and received numerous awards. She is visiting Amsterdam this summer as a guest of IDFA Project Space 2026.
