At the beginning of the documentary, a house is ablaze. Next, director Christine Reeh shows the occupant - a German woman who has been living in Portugal for fifteen years – among the charred remains. Her husband says, ‘I hope that in Germany the Portuguese aren’t treated like this.’ A little later, they link the alleged arson to their new nature society. Reeh does not try to confirm or deny the accusations, but allows the woman and her sister - who has been living in Portugal just as long - to say what they think. In Portugal, the two women looked for space to live their own life, close to nature, without any machines and self-sufficiently. But, after the fire, one of them has had enough. The other, who lives close by, is suspicious but for the time being she stays. Alone with her goats, dancing through nature.
