Misha and So On

Misha Mengelberg, monarch of European jazz, icon of dada and improvisation. Pianist, composer, bandleader, he has been battling with his brain, his memory is slowly ebbing away. He still performs within the confines of the ICP Orchestra, the renowned ensemble which he founded in 1967. As long as it is possible for him to do so. 

 was largely filmed in February 2013 during the band's weeklong sojourn at the Vortex Jazz Club in London, and is a journey of reminiscence and reality, music, dementia and love.
