Ukraine, 2022. An innocent family is bombed—and war photographer Lynsey Addario is just a stone’s throw away. The photo she takes circulates around the world. Shortly thereafter, she’s already in a taxi heading for the airport—after all, she doesn’t want to miss her son’s concert in London.

Pain is all around: colleagues have been murdered, family members are worried.
