Kane and Allu

Kane and Allu are in many respects each other's opposites. Kane is artistic and quiet, whereas Allu is athletic and energetic. Still, the two twelve-year-old girls have been best friends for years. Allu thinks Kane “can sing very well and draw superbly.” Kane is equally complimentary and says Allu “is a quick learner and often uses outmoded proverbs.” In September, the two girls will go to different schools and they do not really know what to think of that. But before that moment comes, they plan to giggle, joke and have serious discussions with a vengeance.
