This film gives Cuban youngsters who were born after the Revolution of 1959 and who are, from personal experience, only familiar with Cuban socialism an opportunity to express themselves. For the first time they are facing a serious challenge to think of solutions for the economic crisis their country is in now. Students are debating candidly and spontaneously about the fate of their country, just like heavy metal musicians. Volunteers at a plantation give evidence of their desire to protect the Revolution while dissidents complain about the repression. Images of daily life in Cuba show how grave the crisis is, but also the advantages of the Revolution and the riches of the Cuban culture.
