Het Documentaire Paviljoen can be easily reached with public transport and is a short walking distance from the the following stops:
- Museumplein: Trams 2, 5 en 12
- Van Baerlestraat: Trams 3 en 12

- Leidseplein: Trams 12, 2, 1, 5
Parking
There are no public parking spaces available at Het Documentaire Paviljoen. The nearest car parks are at the following locations:
- Q-Park Byzantium: Tesselschadestraat 1G1054 ET Amsterdam (Open 24 hours a day).
- Q-Park Museumplein: van Baerlestraat 33B1071 AP Amsterdam (Entry Sunday–Wednesday: 07:00–01:00, Thursday–Saturday: 07:00–02:30. Exit 24 hours a day)
- Q-Park for busses: Paulus Potterstraat 11071 CS Amsterdam (Open 24 hours a day)
Accessibility
Het Documentaire Paviljoen is located on the first floor of Het Vondelparkpaviljoen. All venue halls are wheelchair accessible via the elevator at Café Vertigo, located on the ground floor. Restaurant staff will be happy to assist in accessing the elevator.
Seating
The cinema (De Spiegel) includes two reserved spaces for wheelchair users. To reserve one, or if you would like any assistance, please get in touch via paviljoen.service@idfa.nl.
Het Podium and De Salon are wheelchair accessible and no reservation is required.
Parking
Parking spots for visitors with accessibility needs are available next to the building. To reserve a spot or to request assistance, please get in touch via paviljoen.service@idfa.nl.
Accessible bathrooms
A wheelchair-accessible bathroom is available on the ground floor of Het Documentaire Paviljoen. It can be reached by using the elevator at Café Vertigo.
Hearing Loops / Telecoil
Currently, there is no hearing loop or telecoil system available.
