Voice of a Nation: My Journey Through Afghanistan

The film reflects on the last 10 years as filmmaker Jawed Taiman travels across Afghanistan to learn about the current state of affairs in his homeland through the perspectives and voices of others. During his travels, Taiman talks to a diversity of Afghan men, women, and children–educated individuals, students, farmers, government employees, and even insurgents opposing the government. The film aims to capture their uncensored and honest opinions and views on their lives, framing for Taiman a new perspective on a homeland he was forced to leave behind as a child.
