Muzykanci

A story about 'common' people who have developed a passion for music, expressed in a poetic documentary film about an amateur brassband in Warsaw, made up of tram conductors, mechanics and blue-collar workers. The film shows rehearsals of the orchestra, thereby presenting a series of psychological portraits of the musicians and their 84-year old director, and of the joy they get from playing together. The orchestration of the sounds and movements, together with an interesting editing, have made this film into a tightly composed and ambitious piece of cinematographic art.
