Outside In

Now that her parents have separated, Emma is dealing with one change after another. She's glad that she no longer has to witness their fights, but there are a lot of new things to get used to. Her mother's new house for one, and then there's her father's new girlfriend. Excerpts from her audio diary reveal how she experiences the break-up, while images show how she finds peace outdoors—at the firing range, alone in the fields or up in a tree with a friend. Her parents aren't much use right now—they're just too concerned with themselves to be able to help and support her. But during this turbulent time, Emma discovers new ways to make room for her sometimes confused feelings.
