Saul Kent’s father died at a young age of a disease that could be cured today. Later on, Kent had his deceased mother deep-frozen. He only preserved the head, not the weathered body. After a judicial inquiry into murder and following widespread media exposure, Kent proceeded to hide the head. The charge was dropped, but the depository of the head remains a secret. Morris gives the visionary Kent ample opportunity to talk about his dream of immortality and eventual reunion with his mother.
