The Death of Jaime Roldós

A personal reflection on the mislaying of a South American country. It evolves around the mystery of an airplane crash occurred in May 24th 1981 where the president of the country, Jaime Roldós, was killed. Confronting the doubts about the accident the film takes us into the labyrinth of a democracy built over oblivion and lie. The disenchantment of the director’s generation for politics can only be overcome by the confrontation with truth, no matter how hard this might be.
