Myrte en haar vader

Myrte’s father suffers from Parkinson's disease. There are times when he is shaking so badly that he cannot even lift his fork to his mouth. Myrte used to think it would pass and that he should not make such a fool of himself, but now she knows that it will never go away. When she invites a friend over, Myrte is sometimes ashamed of her father, but for the most part she is just very sad to see him like this. Winner of the 2003 Kids & Docs Contest.
