Dressed in phosphorescent vests, women and men gathered to express their anger and their determination to change the world. The “Gilet jaunes” left the countryside, the small towns, the peripheral areas, to reach roundabouts and the large urban centers, so that we could see them - the invisible ones – and hear them - the inaudible ones… In a diagonal journey across France, bordered by two large international harbors, the film brings them out of the shadows, to tell the story of this unique uprising. In the most ordinary places where the trouble appeared, the camera acts as a resonance box.
