As a student, director Neasa Ni Chianain discovered a charismatic poet writing about the pain of lost love. Years later, he invites her to his spiritual home, Nepal. For ten years he has sponsored young Nepalese boys with school fees, clothes, bicycles. To this impoverished people, he is a God. Through the camera, the fairytale shines: Boys speak warmly of his generosity. But another tale emerges, of exploitation. All is not what it seems. The picture of the kind benefactor comes apart. Unable to believe the allegations about the poet she idolized, the filmmaker enters the action to challenge him.
