Motto Live
A live performance inspired by the interactive experience Motto, intertwining ancient storytelling traditions with the contemporary language of the internet. This unique experience will be broadcast live from Vincent Morisset’s studio in Montreal, and he will be joined by other artists from different countries exploring the world of Motto.
Documentary becomes part of fiction in this interactive novella for mobile devices. The story, which concerns the disappearance of a friendly spirit named September, is told using thousands of ultrashort fragments of video shot by users all over the world—including you. These off-the-cuff clips are anonymized and then incorporated into the emotional fabric of Motto, creating a narrative that is part ghost story and part treasure hunt.
