How to submit your interactive/immersive project for IDFA 2021

The call for submissions for performances and interactive/immersive new media projects is closed now. For information about documentary film submissions, please refer to our separate film submission page.

    What we're looking for

We are open to all sorts of non-fiction artworks that use emerging media to represent reality, including web experiences, digital art, games, audio experiences, immersive experiences (such as VR/AR/MR, social VR and full-dome films), physical installations, live performances, and immersive theater.

We also encourage submissions of performances/live projects that combine documentary film elements with music, theater, dance, and/or emerging media.

Your project submission will be considered for IDFA DocLab, IDFA on Stage, and other program sections that explore different ways of showcasing documentary art.

    • Please read the regulations carefully before filling out the entry form.
    • Go to MyIDFA (in the section ‘My Entries’) to submit the online entry form and pay the entry fee.
