Workshops and training programs for emerging filmmakers
To stimulate new talent and high level documentary production, IDFAcademy organizes international training programs for emerging filmmakers: the IDFAcademy Summer School in July and the IDFAcademy during the festival in November. IDFA also organizes workshops for Dutch speaking participants.
During the festival, IDFAcademy offers an intensive four-day training program for emerging documentary filmmakers and producers. The program is open to emerging filmmakers and producers from all over the world, offering them a comprehensive introduction to the festival and the professional market. Film students are not eligible for the IDFAcademy.
The accreditation form is now online. Deadline for accreditation is September 15. The IDFAcademy during the festival takes place from Thursday November 15 until Sunday November 18. The selection will be made mid October. For more information about the IDFAcademy send an email to email@example.com.
DocLab Academy is an international program for new talent in the field of documentary storytelling and interactive media. This five-day program takes place from November 16 to 20 at De Brakke Grond and is part of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
IDFAcademy is made possible by Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme of the European Union, Dioraphte and Vevam
