With your support, we ensure that the next generation of filmmakers can tell their stories. Your contribution directly supports IDFA’s talent development programs for emerging filmmakers.

In these times where commercial interests often predominate, we notice there is less and less room for new talent to develop. Yet it is precisely these emerging filmmakers who keep the documentary film genre innovative and real.

Who is the Young Doc Circle for?
For documentary film lovers aged approximately 25-40, or anyone who feels that age. People who want to be the beating heart of IDFA and want to watch urgent stories together, be inspired by them, and discuss them.

As part of the Young Doc Circle, you support IDFA with a tax-deductible* contribution of €420 per year or €35 per month. The same as a gym membership, but now to keep your mind fit.
