About the speaker
Alara Adilow (1988) is a poet of Somali descent, residing in Amsterdam. In 2019, she was a finalist in the Dutch National Poetry Slam. Her work has been published in notable literary journals such as De Gids, Het liegend konijn, De Revisor, and Tirade.
