De Groene Filmclub Live: A Picture to Remember
De Groene Filmclub Live: A Picture to Remember
Description
De Groene Amsterdammer selects a film from the rich archive of IDFA to screen during a live edition of De Groene Filmclub. This edition features A Picture to Remember (2023), followed by an engaging conversation with guest speakers. Told from the perspective of three generations of women, the film builds a bridge between Ukraine’s past and present, exploring the resilience of civilians amid a history of aggression and generational trauma.

After the screening, Rutger van der Hoeven, Tjitske Lingsma, and Xandra Schutte will reflect on life in a long-term warzone and its potential impact on the future of Ukraine and its people.
