Festival history

During a Eurocup final Harry Findlay bet all his money, 40,000 British pounds, on Ajax. Ajax won and together with his wife Harry Findlay bought a house. When someone has done something like that the English say: ‘He stood for this massive’. It goes far beyond ‘having a try’. For Harry Findlay betting has become a way of life. More than that, Findlay is the most renowned punter in Great Britain. He met his wife Kay at the ‘Snooker World Championships’ in Sheffield, and when he plays tennis with his best friend Jason, they stake 1500 British pounds. STOOD FOR THIS MASSIVE is Stuart Mitchell‘s final examination film. Together with a number of students of the Royal College of Art he followed Harry Findlay during his daily practices.
