Swok! - worstelen

In this episode of VPRO’s children’s programme SWOK!, Ingeborg Jansen talks with the Turkish boy Mustafa and the Moroccan boy Fahd, two 10-year-old friends, who are very fond of wrestling. When they fight, they almost always compete with each other. They like wrestling so much, because you have to be agile, but you also have to think. As a result of their many bouts, their friendship has only intensified, because they quarrel far less often now. Mustafa does not mind that Fahd usually wins. After all, he has only just started doing this sport and can learn a lot from Fahd. The two boys demonstrate various difficult holds: the arm swing, the reverse waist swing and the armpit-neck hold.
