Overleven in NL - het busje

In this episode of (), a five-part Dutch TV series for children, director Katinka de Maar travels with a small group of children who go to school by bus. The children are very different from one another, but their common bond is that their individual learning disabilities have brought them to a special school. In the school bus, they are stuck with each other and the bus driver. Observations of their hectic skirmishes are alternated with quiet, stylised black-and-white portraits of the children, when in voiceover they answer more intimate questions and it becomes clear how vulnerable they really are.
