A sympathetic look behind the scenes of go-kart racing. Nick Gerhards and his twin brother are unbeatable on the go-kart track, even though Tim is always just a little bit faster. They compete at a high level and are coached by their father, who was once a successful driver himself. He patiently explains how they could have gone even faster, but he also stresses that fun should always come first.

Although the shared love of karting predominates, and Nick is genuinely happy for his brother, he would also like to be the center of attention from time to time. In addition to racing, the brothers are also filmed lying together on their bed. Here they imitate how as twins they were once positioned in their mother’s womb. And they discuss karting and their dreams for the future.

Then the last race of the season approaches. We observe the boys from a distance as they prepare together. In voice-over, Nick confesses his frustration with constantly coming in second. Will he manage to break out of that role in this race?
