A camel is crossing the desert. The wind whistles across the rolling landscape, forsaken by God and all people, and creates beautiful patterns in the sand. In the next scene, a car is driving through a city with the camel in the back. We see the environment through the animal’s eyes, as it were. With his raised head, he observes the inhabited world that whizzes by; a child on a bicycle, a police officer, the illuminations above the street. Then the journey comes to an end - the camel is led into the slaughterhouse, where he meets a cruel death.
